A Review Article: The Book "The Alioons Poets" By Ahmed Zaki Kadhim Al-Anbari
Abstract
This is a thematic review of a book entitled "The Alioons Poets," written by Ahmed Zaki Kadhim Al-Anbari from Iraq, the city of Babylon/AL-Musayyab. The researcher sought to review, summarize, and present an overview of the book, after introducing its author, who devoted his role as a writer, critic, and book editor to this book Ahmed Zaki Kazim, an Iraqi researcher, writer, and poet, was born on June 29, 1949 in the city of Babylon. Literature and history were his two faithful companions. He wrote poetry with the spirit of a passionate lover, and his poems were published in prestigious Iraqi and Arab newspapers and magazines, such as Radio and Television Magazine, Alef Baa, and the Lebanese newspaper Al-Dustour. Poetry was not his only exile, as he quickly turned to literary criticism, revealing a sensitive critical taste He wrote critical reviews and literary articles in numerous newspapers, including Al-Jana'in, Al-Jumhuriya, Al-Sabah, Al-Mashreq, Al-Furat, and Al-Faihaa, in addition to his contributions to the Saudi magazine Al-Arab, Al-Muthaqaf Al-Arabi, and Al-Dhakha'ir Ahmed Zaki Al-Anbari was not only a poet and prose writer, but he was also a witness to the local cultural movement, participating with his poetry in numerous literary forums, raising the banner of free speech during difficult times. In 2005, his literary career was crowned with membership in the Iraqi Writers and Authors Union, in recognition of his prolific contributions and active presence in the cultural scene. His literary harvest was represented in works that spanned history, poetry, and criticism, the most prominent of which are: Al-Musayyab: History and Life, Dictionary of Poets of the Evidence of the Ocean Dictionary, Dictionary of Poetry and Poets of the Basis of Eloquence, Poetry of Al-Najim (Saeed bin Al-Hasan Al-Najim), Poetry of Umayya bin Abi A’idh, Investigation of the Eleventh Part From the book "Mirror of Time," we find in Arabic Poetry (published by the Al-Babtain Foundation), Al-Alyoun among the poets we are about to discuss (Iranian edition), Kazima in Arabic Poetry (Al-Babtain Foundation), and other works AL-Anbari continued his path, faithful to the word, preserving the memory of the place, and believing that writing itself is a resistance against forgetfulness. In every line of his writings, the voice of Iraq pulsates... the voice of the land and humanity.
