Standards of Syntax and Correctness among Early Linguists and Adherents of Generative Theory

Abstract

The adherents of the generative theory from the Arab world have contributed to the development of the Arabic language through translation or attempting to integrate generative-transformative grammar with Arabic grammar. The transformative lesson entered the Arabic sentence, which has the ability to accommodate modern linguistics. The transformative linguistic lesson has focused on the generative rules in sentence construction. The study has revealed the structural construction of the Arabic sentence among Chomsky's followers and that there are many similarities between what Arabic grammar has presented and what has been mentioned by Chomsky's adherents, even if they did not explicitly state it.
